Toddler Steals Prince Harry’s Popcorn, Is Caught Red Handed!

Chances are that when Prince Harry attended a sporting event in Toronto as part of the Invictus Games, which he founded, he did not expect to be robbed. But don’t worry folks, the thief was a small toddler and the booty—his popcorn!

Prince Harry was attending a volleyball match between veterans of the UK and Denmark when the intrepid little girl helped herself to his snack.

The toddler’s name is Emily Henson, seen here on the lap of her mother Hayley, and sitting beside her father, David. David Henson lost both legs in Afghanistan in 2011. He served the UK as a royal engineer and has become friends with Prince Harry after captaining the first UK Invictus Games Team in 2014.

The popcorn must be delicious, as sweet Emily goes in for handfuls multiple times!

Prince Harry is known for being wonderful with children—he is already uncle to Prince George and Prince Charlotte, is godfather to many of his friends’ kids, and has been quoted as saying he would love to have children of his own.

He founded the Games in 2014. Invictus is Latin for “undefeated.” Prince Harry has said of the games that they would “demonstrate the power of sport to inspire recovery, support rehabilitation and demonstrate life beyond disability.” It is a sporting event for wounded or sick armed services personnel, veterans who have served their nations with honor. As of 2017, 17 countries were invited to participate in the Games.
