Kelly Clarkson Sings ‘Silent Night’ Solo Until 2 Legendary Vocalists Step From Shadows

During the Christmas season, we can always look forward to hearing our favorite holiday songs performed by our favorite vocal artists. Kelly Clarkson remains one of our favorite singers, and this video of one of her Christmas performances demonstrates why! On stage, Kelly starts out alone. Wearing a stunning red dress and standing against a lovely wintry backdrop, the singer begins the touching Christmas classic, “Silent Night.”

But then the crowd is happily surprised when Trisha Yearwood makes her way onstage and joins in on the song. Complimented by Kelly Clarkson’s harmony, the song is taken to a new level. But it doesn’t stop there.

When Reba McEntire joins the two singers on stage, the crowd goes wild. At that point, the three classic voices meld together in perfect Christmas harmony.

The performance was a part of Kelly Clarkson’s Cautionary Christmas Music Tale, a Christmas television special made for NBC a few years ago. The special featured an all-star cast, including Blake Shelton, Whoopi Goldberg, Heidi Klum and William Shatner. It was a comedic approach to the meaning of Christmas, one in which Clarkson learns an important Christmas lesson after scheming to boost her fame using the holiday as an excuse.

The singer also released a holiday album around the same time as the special, entitled Wrapped In Red, which featured songs such as “White Christmas,” “Underneath the Tree,” and the version of “Silent Night” featuring Trisha Yearwood and Reba McEntire.

The performance is so memorable that we can only hope to see these three amazing women onstage together again one day!
