When Guy, all of 2 years old, boarded a Southwest flight from Kansas City on his way home to Raleigh, it is possible that some of the passengers may have been a bit wary. After all, flights with kids can be iffy—but this kid swayed hearts and minds as he made his way to his seat.

Guy’s mother, Alya Jakubowicz, filmed her son making his way down the aisle of the plane—and greeting various passengers with a polite fist bump on his way!

She posted on Instagram, “My son on the campaign trail, attempting to win the hearts of airline passengers in the hopes of becoming the next Southwest ambassador. He is making flying the friendly skies even friendlier with one fist bump at a time!”

Alya’s post has inspired other parents to share similar stories and memories. Someone shared, “What a sweetie. My almost 2 yr old did a similar thing on a flight. Walked down the aisle and patted everyone on one side on the arm and did the other side on the way back. Nobody minded 😊”

Another Facebooker shared her fond memory: “Our youngest was 2 when we took her on her first flight and she said hi to everyone as we went to our seats. She told me the whole plane was full of her friends 😁.”

With the video garnering tons of views on Facebook and Instagram, Guy was invited on various tv shows and news reports. He even got to fist bump Gladys Knight!

We hope Guy keeps on bringing smiles to the world.
