White is not dead. In fact, she’s very much alive. So alive she celebrated her 96th birthday on Wednesday! People say her ability to accentuate a positive outlook in every situation, is what kept her alive for so long.
“I know it sounds corny, but I try to see the funny side and the upside, not the downside. I get bored with people who complain about this or that. It’s such a waste of time,” she says in one of her interviews. “It sounds so trite, but a lot of people will pick out something to complain about rather than say, ‘Hey, that was great!’ It’s not hard to find great stuff if you look, Enjoy life”
Some of you may remember Betty from “The Golden Girls”, and others may remember when she was just getting started back on her “Date With the Angel” days in 1957. Either way, everyone has a love for Betty’s different characters. So when her name became a trend on the internet everyone assumed the worst right away.

Don’t worry, Betty says she feels alive and thankful, that she still has good health and all of her memories from over the years. With her outstanding career of 75 years, and worldwide support Betty says, “I’m the luckiest old broad on two feet!”.
