Having to get out of the pool to grab a drink is no fun, and floating drink coolers are expensive. Who wants to pay $20 or more for something you can easily make for $5? Luckily we have the solution to your pool drink woes with this super simple Pool Noodle Beverage Boat!
All you need to make this nifty floating cooler is a pool noodle, a plastic storage container, and some waterproof nylon rope. Once you have it put together, fill it with ice and your favorite drinks and plop it in the pool (it even has a handy pull rope if you’re feeling extra lazy!). Whip this up for your next pool party and your guests are sure to be impressed!
Materials Needed:

1 pool noodle

a medium-sized plastic storage container
-
waterproof nylon rope
Directions:
Cut the pool noodle into 4 pieces. You will have 2 long pieces and 2 shorter pieces. Make sure each piece will fit the lengths of the sides of your plastic storage container.
Thread the rope through the holes in the pool noodles.
Tie all the pieces together around the plastic container.
Your new Pool Noodle Beverage Boat is now ready to use! Fill with ice and your favorite drinks and sip happily knowing you don’t have to get out of the pool to grab a drink.
